All VERTICAL facades are delivered with a custom-designed
irrigation and technical cabinet, installed by our specialists together with
the facade. It ensures the correct moisture and nutrient levels for the
plants throughout the season, while keeping our back office informed.
With our irrigation system, you can choose to reuse rainwater for
irrigation, providing a sustainable way to conserve resources and reduce
environmental impact. The growth element ensures an even distribution
of moisture across a vertical surface of up to six metres in height using a
single irrigation line.
Operation &
maintenance
VERTICAL is a complete solution with a comprehensive operation and
maintenance agreement, in which the facade is monitored in terms of
moisture levels and plant growth via integrated sensors. Behind this is a
specialised back office team that continuously oversees the condition of
the wall. Our team of landscape architects, DGNB Consultants,
engineers and horticulturists supports you throughout all phases of the
project—from preliminary design to monitoring and operation.
The VERTICAL consultation process is a complete solution
—everything included.
Within the operation agreement, particular emphasis is placed on
ensuring the health of the wall throughout all seasons. All conceivable
scenarios relating to water and frost are therefore taken into account.
This provides the client with complete peace of mind, as the wall is fully
monitored, meaning there is no operational responsibility for the client.
